Soldered heatsinks
The combination of aluminium and copper is suitable to cool very high power densities even of small components. The thermal “spreading effect” of the copper plate in combination with light aluminium fins leads to very low thermal resistances. By using punched aluminium fins, a very large thermal surface is created allowing a fanless cooling.
